The Head of Student Affairs Office is established in accordance with High Education Law No. 2547 and the article 31 of Academic Organization Regulation to conduct student affairs of our University. Our office operates on Alsancak campus where our Rectorate is located.
Its tasks include to make preparations regarding the enrollment processes of students that currently study at one of our 14 faculties, 10 institutions, 4 schools, a conservatory, 7 vocational schools; follow-up of enrolled students’ personal information, tuition fees, and all processes regarding scholarships and credits granted by General Directorate of Higher Education Credits and Dormitories; preparation of statistical data; writing and preparation of diplomas and diploma supplements for students graduating; identity card processes; preparation of the academic calendar; follow-up and update of processes regarding regulations, guidelines, and codes of practice about our University; follow-up of educational plans and numbers of branches; opening and closing of a faculty/school/department/program; coordination of processes that Rectorate wants to be carried out and decisions taken by the Bologna Coordination Commission in the framework of Bologna Process; processes regarding reporting and secretariat of University Educational Commission and presentation of decisions taken by the University senate to the relevant authorities.
